SPAY is a campaign that makes us realize the importance of neutering pets. Most of the pet owners choose not to neuter their pet due to lack of information. I hope through this campaign the message of neutering pets can be spread out because every cat and dog deserve a place called home, not shelter and street.
A best decisions from a pet owner to make is to spay or neuter their cat or dog. Spaying refers to the removal of a female cat’s/dog’s reproductive organs, while neutering refers to the procedure that’s done for males. This is also the single most important thing that we can do to save cats and dogs from all the suffering and death that their overpopulation. The most important thing,neutered pets live longer and healthier lives.
Spaying and neutering can make a big difference:
One unneutered female dog and her offspring can produce 67,000 puppies in only six years.
In seven years, one female cat and her offspring can produce 370,000 kittens.
This campaign has reached over 1000 impressions and 900 accounts have seen the posts. 88% from total of 50 responders agree that they should bring their pet for neuter surgery. Also, 80% of the responders understand neutering give health benefits to pet.
